We can take you from your first basic rhythms all the way through to writing your own epic drum solos! All students learn how to read and write drum tab from their very first lesson, but we know it’s all about getting to hit things really hard! Lessons are taught on Yamaha DTXplorer electric kits, which you can change to sound like anything from a stadium rock kit to reggae drums to dance beats! Don’t worry though, you still get the chance to rock out on a full live kit at our rock shows! Yamaha drum kits are provided for all drum students to use during lessons at Birmingham Rockschool.
