Birmingham Rockschool choir were invited to take part in a unique and exciting event as part of the Commonwealth Games Handover ceremony.
In a first for an event of this kind, the show took television viewers on a journey from one side of the world to the other as Australia handed over to hundreds of dancers and singers in Birmingham. The event was filmed as one continuous camera shot, and was shown live to a billion viewers worldwide!
We had an amazing time, and are really proud to have been a part of such a fantastic performance. We would like to thank everyone who worked both behind and in front of the camera, creating such a unique and special event that has shown the world what a wonderful place Birmingham is!
