We are very excited to announce that we will be celebrating one year since the launch of the Birmingham Rockschool Youth Choir with a free open evening at our studio in Kings Norton on Monday 2nd October for anyone who would like to come and have a sing and see what we are all about!
The evening is open to ages 6+, and singers of all abilities are welcome. There are no auditions, no application process, no sheet music, and all songs are taught by ear with lyric sheets to allow absolutely everyone to get involved!
We perform an uplifting mix of rock and pop music from classic anthems to chart hits all specially arranged for group singing, and all rehearsals and performances are accompanied by a live rock band!
Our youth choir has achieved so much in the past year, with 16 performances in 12 months!
Parents and guardians are welcome to sit in on the sessions, and we have ample seating both in the studio and in our reception area during both the open evening and regular weekly sessions.
The open evening is completely free, and after that our weekly sessions are only £4.00 per session paid weekly. There are no terms and we run all year round, so you don’t have to worry about a big pay-out at the beginning of each term, just pay when you come!
